Property manager/caretaker of a 20 acre property which serves as a music festival venue. Manage multiple aspects of festival production, maintenance of property and equipment, property improvements, groundskeeping and landscaping. Responsible for yearly budgets of expenditures, inventory and supplies for each of those departments. I was responsible for a 25% decrease in festival expenses and a 50% decrease in labor expenses within the first year. Successfully implemented recycling and composting plan for greener festivals. Serve as the company's safety coordinator for worker compensation and oversee proper practices for public safety and hazard awareness. I went from part time market employee to Assistant Farm Manager of 100+ acre organic farm within 3 years. Active in every aspect of crop production: seeding, planting, irrigation, pest control, harvest, packaging and sale of produce. Managed 2500 sq. ft. greenhouse for farm plant starts and flowers for market sales, initiated and managed a successful CSA, directly responsible for a major organic wholesale food account with over $20,000 in sales within the first year. Managed a country store, multiple farmers markets and employees for selling of RMPR produce. Produced fall pumpkin festival with responsibilities including personnel management, K-6 educational tours, country market, site preparation/ maintenance and much more!
